Dear All,
Well I now have 1 month and 1 week sober. I can tell you, this isn't easy. The usual flood of RAD emotions and the horrors and nightmares I have buried for 20 years are now coming back to the surface. No one in my family can really understand what I am going through and it's very hard to find support right now, so I decided to write about something I saw last night which sent me into a depressive spin that almost put me into the pysch emergency unit for a check up. Dear All,
Melissa has experieince with her young daughter and her "happy places". Melissa recently asked me what it was like in my happy place, how I felt and if I felt any connection to others. Dear All,
I have always been a movie fan. I love all kinds of movies, love, drama, action, you name it. As a child, I learned that movies made better friends then the people that spit on me at school. I especially loved excessively violent movies and ones that would depress me and turn me into a suicidal wreck.

I remind readers that you should ALWAYS seek the advice of a RAD specialist when it comes to your loved one (young or old). So here we go, down the rabbit hole.

Recently, a new member of RAD ONLINE has joined us and decided to start networking and speaking with us about RAD and how devastating this disorder can be. She's afraid she's going to overload me with questions. Rubbish. Thats my job as an advocate, to answer questions. Recently, she talked about how her daughter would say things that might shock an ordinary person. Shocking??? Not for us, it's normal.
