" You are a worthless, gutless nigger, and that's all your ever going to be ", were the words that resonated through my mind as the sun peeked over the lush green trees last year as I started my first "Walk For Adoption". Everything in my head told me I was going to fail including some of my own family members. As I began my walking up the sun warmed trail I wondered if I would actually make it. 55 miles of road to cover in a few days time span. I saw some really beautiful things along that route and tonight I am pondering what new experiences I will have along the trail.
